My dear friend Gina gave me the nickname Tender Tori in 2021, and ever since tenderness has crystallized into the through line of not only my own creative work but my life. I created the Tender Tori “brand” as a way to not only give myself space to channel my own tenderness, but as an ode to it really (and, aspirationally, as a way to encourage more of it in others, too). 

Along the way building Tender Tori also taught me a lot about what it’s like to build a brand from scratch—a skill that has served me in my client work as I develop logos, websites, social channels, and so much more. 

Creativity has been the natural outlet for my tenderness, not only as a result of my professional background, but because I tend to find some the most tender reflections of the human experience in photos, essays, art, and human stories.
